Leta Edge

Leta Edge went to be with her Lord and family on Friday, January 25, 2019 at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.

Leta was an only child born to Bill and Faynail Hibbs in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Leta was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend and was the heart and soul of her family. Leta married the love of her life, Scott Edge, on May 8, 1979. They traveled, fished, hunted, and spent endless happy days together.

Leta was a dedicated business woman. She and Scott started their own company, Asbestos Removal, where they loved and appreciated their employees.

Leta is survived by her loving husband, Scott Edge of Odessa, and her only child, Wyatt Edge of Odessa, who she loved with all her heart. Leta has 4 grandchildren she adored and loved spending time with: Jake Edge, Kali May Edge, Darykk Edge and Saxon Edge. She leaves behind aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins who will cherish her all the days of their lives.

Leta is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Faynail Hibbs, her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Sheila Edge of Odessa, and her grandparents, Robert E Taylor and Eva Taylor and grandparents-in-law Jake and Mae Edge of Odessa.

Leta loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, who taught about a glorious place God has prepared for all of us. " Let not your heart be troubled, believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many dwelling places, if it were not so, I would have told you. For I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.' John 14:1-3.

Leta's memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Odessa. We know that heaven will be a little brighter with our Leta there.
