Liddy Morris

Liddy M. Morris 69, passed away February 14, 2009 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born November 30, 1939 to J.L. Brooks and Lillie Mae Whitlock Brooks in Paint Rock, TX.

Mrs. Morris was a housewife and member of Midessa Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed drawing, painting, ceramics sewing, crocheting, knitting and cake decorating. She also loved playing with her grandbabies.

Her parents J.L. and Lillie Mae Brooks preceded her in death.

She is survived by husband Keith Morris of Midland, TX; children, Bobby Dewane Fambrough Jr., Jerry Wayne Fambrough, Christina Louise Watson all of Midland, TX, Tammy Sue Hinson of Burleson, TX, Patricia Morris Haverman of Katy, TX and John Timothy Morris of Norfolk VA; Brother Archie Brooks of Merkel, TX; Sisters, Ruby Brooks of Abilene, TX, Mary Redford of Clyde, TX, Shirley Driver of Roby, TX, Brenda Middleton of Abilene, TX; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

There will be a family and friend visitation at Sunset Funeral Home Tuesday, February 17, 2009 from 6:00 to 8 P.M. Services will be on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 2 P.M. at Midessa Heights Baptist Church just off of Hwy 80 at the corner of CR 1307 S CR 124 W with Pastor Tony McCrohan officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
