Lillie Morrow

November 23, 1929 — September 27, 2016

Lillie Faye Morrow, 86, of Odessa, left this life to continue on with the Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She died in the arms of her loving husband Howard.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Thompson of Cornerstone Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Lillie Faye was born in Borger, Texas to Jim and Lillie McDonald on November 23, 1929. She attended the Church of God in Borger where she met her soulmate Howard Morrow at the age of five years old. They married on December 24, 1947 in Borger, Texas and began raising their family. The Morrow family moved to Odessa in 1964. Faye worked as a salesperson for Levines and Anthonys Department Stores for many years. She loved people; her friendly and outgoing personality made her many friends throughout her life. Faye was a wonderful wife for 68 years and a great mother. She was a member of the First Assembly of God where she taught Sunday school and worked for and along with her church. She loved the Lord and her church community.

Lillie Faye is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and her daughter.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband Howard Morrow of Odessa, Texas; son Mike Morrow and wife Cindy of Ruidoso, New Mexico and daughters Christy Lee Alexander and husband Brian of Llano, Texas and Pat Neal and husband Bill of Odessa, Texas; sister Billie Morrow of Borger, Texas. Extended survivors include 10 grandchildren: Matthew Lee of Marietta, Georgia; Michael Lee of Dacula, Georgia; Phillip Neal of Odessa, Texas; Amanda Shakawy of San Antonio, Texas; Angela Rodriguez of Andrews, Texas; Tammy Mann of San Angelo, Texas; Jason Morrow Hicks of Sterling City, Texas; Josh Morrow of Amarillo; Nathan Morrow of Amarillo, Texas; Erica Barton of Amarillo, Texas and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Lee, Michael Lee, Phillip Neal, Josh Morrow, Jason Morrow Hicks, and Nathan Morrow.

The family of Lillie Faye Morrow wishes to thank Dr. Oliver and the staff of Mirage Dialysis Center for their care of our dearly loved, Miss Lillie. She loved you all.
