Linda Arias

Linda L. Arias, age 56 of Odessa, passed away March 10, 2013 in Abilene, Texas.

She was born May 13, 1956 in Chandler, Arizona to William Eugene Ernst, Sr. and Carolyn Jeanette Owens Ernst. She grew up in Flagstaff and attended Northern Arizona University. She was a loving mother and was a strong family person. She loved to sing, and was invited to sing with Up With People.

She is survived by her husband, Ruben Arias, Sr. of Odessa son, Ruben Arias, Jr. and wife Brooklyn, of Odessa, stepsons, Mateo Cordao and Cipriano Arias, both of Odessa daughters Renee Hays and husband Rob, of Oklahoma City, Sherene Ernst and Shovonne Ernst, both of Odessa her mother, Jeanette Ernst of Abilene brothers, William E. Ernst, Jr and wife Rosa of Kermit, David D. Ernst, Jr. and wife Nora of Flagstaff, Arizona and James V. Ernst and wife Cinda of Glendale, Arizona sisters, Karen S. Watkins and husband Paul of Glendale, Sharon L. Schaefer of Lovington, NM, Elaine J. Pirtle and husband Jody of Midland, and LeeAnna Brown and husband Chris of Abilene grandchildren, Iason, Isaiah, and Zoie Arias of Odessa and Austin and Cooper Hays of Oklahoma City.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Memorial services are scheduled for 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Box officiating.
