Linda Dodson

Linda Catherine Daniels Dodson, age 62 of Odessa, passed away on March 29, 2012 in Odessa.

Linda was born May 15, 1949 in Brownwood, Texas to Ray Barry Daniels and Reba Naomi Sledge Daniels. She attended school in Odessa and graduated from Ector High School. She married Manton Ray Dodson, Jr. on May 21, 1979 in Odessa.

She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Barry Daniels her brothers Danny Daniels and Jimmy Randall her sisters, Louise Goodson and Patricia Daniels.

Survivors include her mother, Reba Daniels her husband, Manton Ray Dodson, Jr. daughters, Lacie Nicole Dodson and Lainie Patrice Kidd and husband Kevin Kidd and grandchildren, Peyton Kidd and Hayden Kidd her son, Manton Ray Dodson, III sisters, Barbara Daniels and Mary Lou Elder and husband Wendell Elder and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 46 PM Sunday, April 1, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, April 2, 2012 at Highland United Methodist Church with Donita Lea officiating.

Pallbearers will be Barry Wright, Travis Simmons, Jon Dominey, Randy Dodson, Sean Brumley and Weylone Kenney.

The family requests that memorials be given to Hospice of Odessa.
