Linda Hooper

Linda Sue Smith Hooper, 52, of Odessa, Tx, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 24, 2014 in Houston, Tx with her family by her side.

Linda was born in San Diego, Ca to Joe Neil Bobbie Smith on September 30, 1961. She was raised and attended school in Sonora, TX where she met later married her high school sweetheart Tony Hooper on August 8, 1981. Linda was a loving wife, devoted Mama, adoring daughter the most special Nana imaginable. She was the heart of her family she brought so much joy and happiness to all who were blessed to have known her. Her grandbabies lit up her life she loved her Mama with all her heart. Linda was everything a partner in life could be her love for The Lord showed through her actions every day. Through her battle with cancer she inspired so many with her strength faith.

Linda is preceded in death by her Daddy Joe Neil Smith.

Linda is survived by her husband Tony Hooper, daughter Whitney Hooper, daughter Joli Gipson husband Brody, son Colton Neil Hooper all of Odessa, mother Bobbie Smith of Sonora, Tx and two precious grandsons Levi Neil and Branson James Gipson.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Michael Shawn Hooper, David Hooper, Ronnie Hooper, John Michael Hooper, Brian Paul Hooper, Caleb Gulley, Evan Gulley.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 28 from 68 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 29 at 11am at Stonegate Fellowship of Midland with Pastor Patrick Payton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
