Linda Gay Pollard

Born in Austin, Texas on August 17, 1942, and passed away in Odessa, Texas on November 18, 2022

Graveside services will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11am at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Linda attended Austin public schools until she graduated from Austin High School and then attended the University of Oklahoma where she pledged AEPhi sorority. She transferred to the University of Texas where she received an undergraduate degree in Education and then a Master in Phycology from SMU.  Linda eventually settled in Dallas where she taught school in Dallas, Wilmer Hutchens and in Odessa.  Linda moved to Odessa to be closer to her father, Sam Lichenstein, and married David Pollard.

Linda was a physical fitness fanatic, an avid runner, and a loving pet parent and supporter of the SPCA.

Linda was loved and adored by everyone she met.  Linda’s family is very grateful for the loving care she received in her last years, Marisela Villalobos and Marsiela’s family.  Linda is survived by her sister (Joy Parker), brother (Sam Lichenstein) and nieces and nephews, Ken Jr., Terri and Robert Parker.
