Linda Sue Redwine, age 60, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October 23, 2015.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Adkisson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Linda was born in Abilene, TX to Truly Adkisson and Eva Adkisson on May 9, 1955. She graduated from Permian High School in Odessa, TX and took several college classes at Odessa College. She married the love of her life, James Redwine on January 20, 1973. She worked as a clerk for Southwest Convenience Stores, spreading her love and joy to all her customers for seven years and was a homemaker that continued to take care of her three wonderful children, including her many grandchildren. She was an active bowler in her younger years and she was proud to be a member of the 200 club. She loved keeping her yard in tip-top shape, being especially proud of her rose bushes and sharing her love of them with her Mama. She was our rock and will forever be missed.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Truly and Eva Adkisson and her sister, Edna Maria Adkisson.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, James Redwine, her son, Michael and wife Starla Redwine of Odessa, her son, Steven and wife Becky Jo Redwine, her daughter, Tracy and husband, Jason Caldwell of Odessa, sister, Pam and her husband, James Dennis of Odessa, brother, Cecil Adkisson, brother, Terry and his wife Stacia Adkisson of Midland, eleven grandchildren, Zack, Kaleb, Jacob, Ryan, Sarah, Dylan, Jason, Morgan, Parker, Allison and Madison, as well as one great grandchild, Makenna and an abundance of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be: Zack Redwine, Kaleb Redwine, Jacob Redwine, Rickey Dennis, Cody Dennis and Jason Caldwell.
