Linda Sullivan

Linda Sue Shewell Sullivan of Odessa, Texas, entered this world January 9, 1946, and left on her seventy-sixth birthday for her eternal life January 9, 2022.

Linda was born in Los Angeles, California to the late Robert and Helen Shewell.  After moving to Texas, she attended schools in Lubbock, then graduated from Odessa College and Wayland Baptist University.

She married the love of her life, David “Snuffy” Sullivan on September 28, 1986, in Odessa, Texas.  Joining their families, they raised David, Jennifer, and Debra.

Linda was a fun-loving, caring, and honorable person.  She loved Jesus, her family, and her friends.  She was known as Wife, Sister, Mom, Ninny, Madre, Grandma, and Ma by those that loved her dearly.  After teaching Cosmetology at Odessa College for twenty-eight years, she retired and began crafting and traveling with her sister Sharron Koenig.

She is preceded in death by her two sons:  Eric Brent and Derek Blaine Corbin.

She is survived by her husband; three children, David (Stephanie) Sullivan of Clyde, Jennifer (Eddy) Bizzell of Odessa, and Debra Sullivan of Abilene; six grandchildren: Kady Pryde, Jaxon Sullivan, Bethany Vaughn, Carlee Bizzell, Madison Lopez, and Christian Cronan; three great grandchildren; nephew, Robert Boyd; and niece, Andrea Douthit.

Services are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home (6801 E. Hwy 80).

Viewing will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 14, 2022, at Crossroads Fellowship (6901 E. Hwy 191) with David Newton and Roni Hampton officiating. The graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers:  David Sullivan, Eddy Bizzell, Robert Boyd, Jaxon Sullivan, Christian Cronan, Chuck Douthit, Blaine Perkins, and Charlie Barry.
