Linwood Anderson

L. Wayne Anderson, 63, of Odessa passed away Wednesday October 22, 2008 at his residence. He was born July 18, 1945 in Shreveport, LA. He was raised in Notrees and graduated from Odessa High School in 1963. He moved to Mansfield, LA and worked for Matthews Lumber Company. He returned to Odessa in 1975, and worked for Hollice Clark. From 1979 to 1995 he worked for Kerr McGee Oil Corporation and retired as a production Forman. He was a Christian.

He is survived by his wife Jacqueline H. Anderson; son Wayne Jr. Anderson and wife Melinda Anderson; daughter Donna Anderson; granddaughter Brittney Anderson Chamblee, her husband Chris Chamblee; grandson Michael Wayne Anderson; great-grandson Mason Shane Chamblee all of Odessa; brothers Charlie Anderson and wife Linda Larry Anderson both of Odessa, and Joe Anderson of Carencro, LA.

Funeral service will be Saturday October 25, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m. with Jimmy Braswell officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Services are under the direction of Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
