Lois Bridges

Lois Faye Bridges, age 91, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2010 at her residence in Odessa.

She was born January 7, 1919 in Cisco, Texas to George Marion Waters and Nina Bell Choate Waters. She was raised in Cisco and graduated in 1936. She married James N. Bridges December 9, 1935 in Cisco, Texas. They moved to Odessa in 1938. She worked at Cobbs Department Store for 25 years. She was a member of Beacon Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her son, George Bridges.

Survivors include her son, Kendall Bridges daughters Helen Phelps and Nina Daniels all of Odessa her grandchildren, George Bridges of Orlando, Florida, Patricia Phelps, Ken Bridges, Michael Phelps, Andrea Fine, Rhonda King, Cristy Gallagher, James Daniels, and Christy Kennedy, all of Odessa and 12 great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jerry Shirley officiating.
