Lois Goswick

Lois Eileen Goswick, 70, of Odessa TX, was called to her Heavenly home on April 6, 2017 at MCH in Odessa TX.

Lois was born in Latrobe, PA to Orval and Thelma Solley on May 18, 1946. She graduated from Indiana High School in Indiana, PA in 1964. She married Walter Goswick on July 27, 1968 in Logan, WV. She was a homemaker for most of her life taking care of her family and in later years, was a cashier at Walmart. She was a devoted mother and granny to her family. She could brighten up any room with her smile and laughter. She loved and loved big, an example to all around her. She had a positive attitude and loved to make people laugh. She was a member of Crossroads Fellowship and a long time member of B.P.O. Does #162.

Lois is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter, Vanisha Gaye and her granddaughter, Kourtney Kay Row.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Sherry Williamson of Odessa, Donna Goswick of Odessa, and Diane Robinson and husband Mark of Odessa, and one stepson, Eric Goswick and wife Jetta of Columbus NE, one brother, Ron Solley of Odessa, her grandchildren, Kristofer Row, Alex, Ian, Ashlynn, Leah and Baby Robinson and one great granddaughter, Desiree.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Kenny Comstock, Executive Pastor of Crossroads Fellowship officiating.

Memorials may be given to Parks Senior Living, 111 Parks Drive, Odessa, TX, 79765 or to the American Diabetes Association 3001 N. Big Spring Midland, TX 79705.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt thanks, gratitude and appreciation to the Nurses, CNAs and staff of Parks Senior Living and also Dr. Francisco for the amazing care they gave our mother. She loved all of you and we can never fully express how much each of you mean to us!
