Lola Darlene Conn

L. Darlene Conn, 74, of Odessa, passed away on November 4, 2021, in Midland, Texas.

Darlene was born in Kansas City, Missouri to Donald and Helen Conn on May 28, 1947. She was a merchandiser in Missouri and California and served as House Mother to Kappa Delta Sorority Beta Epsilon Chapter in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was an integral part of raising her great-great-nephews who loved her very much.

Darlene is preceded in death by her parents, Donald, and Helen Conn; her sisters, Diana Owens, Doris Pavlich, and Donna Huddleston; her niece, Vickie Moore; and her brother-in-law, John Moore.

Darlene is survived by her nephews: John Moore and Jimmy Owens; her nieces: Debbie Owens, Victoria Owens, and Colleen Moore; her great-nieces: Brandi Cook, Christina Kushnick, Tiffany Owens, Ashley Cox, and Kymbre Chaney, her great-nephews: Michael Owens, Eric Cook, and Cade Cox; her great-great-nephews: Rhett and Ethan Cook, and Bristol Cox, and her great-great-niece, Gennalene Cox.  She had many others she considered like family.

Aunt Dar, as she was known to nearly everyone, will be remembered for her brutal humor, wit, and caring heart.  She was deeply loved by her family and those who knew her as she was always willing to help those who needed it.  Once the life of the party, we know she is having a party now.

The family will host a small, private celebration of life at a later date.  The family of Darlene Conn wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Encompass Health in Midland, Texas for their extraordinary efforts in helping our aunt.
