Loretta Kelm

Loretta Brown Kelm, 72, was called home by her Heavenly Father Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Medical Center Hospital, following a short illness. She was born February 7, 1938 in Lubbock, TX to Herman and Agnes Brown. She married A. Dean Kelm on June 20, 1959 in Midland, TX.

She was homemaker and was very involved in ministry with her husband Pastor A. Dean Kelm. They were married for fifty years, until his death last Easter, April 4, 2010. She had a heart for the Lord and served in numerous capacities within the church and the community. They both will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, and parents.

She is survived by her children, Chris and wife Beth Ann of San Antonio, TX Jennifer and husband Todd of Houston, TX Derek and wife Donna of Odessa her grandchildren, Zachary, Brittany and Cooper of San Antonio, Alexis and Austin of Houston Mason, Tyler and Dalton of Odessa were the joy of her life. She is also survived by her brother Dwain Brown of Canyon Lake, TX and Fred Brown of Comfort, TX and a large extended family and friends.

Family will receive friends and guest from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. All are invited to attend the graveside service at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens followed by a celebrating her life at 2:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

The service will be conducted by Pastor Clark Rocca of Grace Christian Fellowship and long time friend, Pastor Steve Wagner of Carrollton, TX. Pallbearers include her grandson: Zachary Kelm, Cooper Kelm, Mason Kelm Tyler Kelm, Dalton Anderson and Austin Ariens.
