Lou Murray, 75 years old, of Odessa, passed away on December 30th, 2017 in Midland Texas.

Visitation will be 6pm to 8 pm Thursday January 4th at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held 4pm Friday January 5th at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Paster Mike Bartlett of Odessa, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sunset Funeral Home.

Lou Murray was born in Odessa TX to Robert L. Williams and Willian Owen Williams on May 10th, 1942. She went to school at Odessa. She married J.R. Murray on June 11th, 1960 at Mr and Mrs Williams house. She graduated from Odessa High School and went to Odessa College. She worked as a Manager at Spencer Gifts in Midland and Odessa. She was involved in Greenfield Acres Baptist Church in many ways.

Lou is preceded in death by her husband J. R. Murray, father R. L Williams, mother Willian Williams, mother in law Letha Woodcox, brothers Bob Williams, Virgil Williams, sister Pauline Lybrand.

Lou is survived by daughters and sons, Melinda Willis of Odessa, Johnny Murray and wife Tracie of Odessa, Brenda Clark of Odessa, James Murray and wife Keri of Odessa, sisters Hazel Eaton and husband Royce of Brownwood, Thelma Long of Odessa. Grandchildren are Eric Murray, Johnathan Willis, Amber Edomwonyi, Chris Murray, Jon Murray, Stephanie Serrano. Many great grandchildren.

The family of Lou Murray wishes to extend our sincere thanks to doctors and nurses of Midland Memorial Hospital, church friends, and many supporting friends of the family.
