Lucky Phuc Nguyen

Lucky Phūc Nguyen was born November 17,2007, and passed away on Wednesday, August 2,2023, at the age of 15. He was a beloved son, brother, cousin, and friend. Lucky was a free-spirited young man who loved to hang out with his family and friends. He enjoyed listening to music and cooking in his free time. Lucky will be greatly missed but this is not “goodbye”, it’s a “I’ll see you later”.

Left to cherish his memories are his parents, Rosario Oropeza and Phūc Hung Nguyen; grandparents, Sylvia Alaniz, Marcelino Oropeza, and Yen Lee Nguyen; great aunt, Carla Bolt; great uncles, Paul Bolt and Gary Hagen; sister, Catalina Campos; brother, Luke Nguyen; nephew, Rowan Simpson; best friend, Blayne Jarrell; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, Howard and Carol Hagen; grandfather, Hung Van Nguyen; great aunt, Connie Prado; and great uncle, Joe Alaniz.

Pallbearers are Ramon A. Moreno, Daniel Rendon, Kevin Simpson, Quang Nguyen, Ken Nguyen, and Van Nguyen.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 6-8pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home: 6801 E. Business 20, Odessa, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 9, 2023, starting at 1pm, followed by a lunch at Pueblo Viejo: 104 S. Terrell, Midland, Texas.
