Lynn Jones

Lynn D. Jones, 74, of Odessa, passed away on November 20, 2019 in Bandera, TX.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday December 3, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Lynn D. Jones was born in Atoka, OK to Joseph A. Jones and Flossie L. Jones on July 2, 1945.  He worked as a Lease Operator for Texaco for 39 years.  He was a veteran and proudly served in the Army Reserves.

Lynn is preceded in death by his father, Joseph A. Jones, his mother, Flossie L. Hughes and his brother, Marion Joe Jones.

Lynn is survived by his children Lisa and Sean Hoover of Dallas, TX, Stephanie Jones of Odessa, TX , Joseph and Christina Jones of Pipe Creek, TX, one sister Patricia Curtis of Olney, TX   , 7 grandchildren: Kyler Brown and Brycen Hoover of Dallas, TX, Jacob, Viviana and Andres Menchaca and Nicolas Jones of Odessa, TX, Parker Jones of Pipe Creek, TX and one great-grandchild, Wesley Brown of Rockwall, TX.
