Manuel A. Romero

Manuel Altamirano Romero, 95, of Odessa, Texas, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025, surrounded by his children.

Manuel was born on February 20, 1930, in Coyame, Chihuahua to Augustin and Manuela Romero. He married his beloved wife Amelia Levario Romero, and they raised 10 children together including

Dolores Benavides, Sylvia Urias, Guadalupe Romero, Manuel Romero, Elco Romero, Rene Romero, Veronica Alvarado, and Araceli Romero.

Manuel A. Romero, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather left a legacy of faith and strength.

For those who knew Manuel, you know that he was a hard worker, a faithful man of God, and an amazing source of wisdom.

The family would like to express sincere appreciation to Manuel's caregivers, friends and family for the comfort they provided him.

The viewing will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary to follow at 5:30 PM, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.
