Manuela Ybarra, born on September 20, 1960, in Odessa, TX, passed away on May 21, 2024, in the same city, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the beloved daughter of Gloria Chaidez and Timoteo Ybarra, and was preceded in death by her parents as well as her siblings Blas Rangel, Pete Garcia, and Maribel Gonzalez.

Manuela is survived by her cherished children: Daniel (Andrea) Baca, Matthew (Sonia) Baca, Manuel Baca, Joshua Ybarra, and Tabatha (John) Quiroz. Her love extended to her numerous grandchildren: Ethan, Logan, Zoey, Alex, Isaiah, Ire, Aliyah, Xavier, Sofia, Braylon, Jaxon, Jace, Heaven, John, Lupita, Elijah, and Olivia. She is also survived by her siblings Sammy Rangel, Timo Ybarra, Nancy Baca, and Manuel Pineda.

Manuela's journey in education led her to Aladdin Beauty College, but her true passion and purpose in life were found in being a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Known for her kind and loving nature, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her love for her family, especially her grandchildren, shone brightly through her actions and words.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Odessa, Tx, on May 29, 2024, from 6pm-8pm.

Pallbearers: Daniel Baca, Matthew Baca, Joshua Ybarra, Alex Baca, Logan Baca, Timo Ybarra.

Family and friends are invited to pay their final respects at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home in Odessa, TX, on May 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Pastor Marcus Zuniga will officiate.Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. In this moment of sorrow, let us remember the profound impact. Manuela had on all who knew her. 

In this time of mourning, the family of Manuela Ybarra would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Medical Center Hospital and Home Hospice for their exceptional care and support during her final days. A special thank you goes out to Rosie McGuire for her unwavering presence by Manuela's side during her hospital stay, and to all the friends and family who visited her, providing comfort and solace. 

Manuela Ybarra will forever be remembered for her selfless love, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family. May her soul rest in peace, and may her memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
