Marchetta June Bivins, age 90, of Odessa, TX, passed away on March 13, 2018 in Odessa, TX.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens of Odessa, TX, with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

June was born November 6, 1927 to James S. Swift and Leola M. (Kindsfather) Swift in Bowie, TX. She married James Bivins on December 13, 1946 in San Antonio, TX. She was a homemaker, beautician, and worked many years for Sears Roebuck. June was a member of Belmont Baptist Church in Odessa and an active Eastern Star member.

June is preceded in death by her husband, James Bivins; parents, James S. Swift and Leola M. Swift; grandchild, Chad and one great grandchild, Kiara; siblings, Leland Swift, Iola Taylor, Evelyn Alexander.

She is survived by her children, James L. Bivins and wife Paula of Irving, TX, Mark D. Bivins of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Kim Townsend and her husband, Steve, Terry P. Bivins and his wife, Jan; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; siblings, Irene Scott, Carletta Walden, and John Swift.

Memorials may be given in June's honor to Belmont Baptist Church of Odessa, TX, or any charity of your choice.
