Marcos Guereca

Marcos Luna Guereca, 75, of Panuco de Coronado, Durango, Mexico. passed away on February 14, 2022, in Odessa, TX.

Rosary will be at 6:00 PM, Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, February 18, 2022, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church with Father Fernando Bonilla officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Marcos was born in Durango, Mex to Victor and Constancia Guereca on July 2, 1946. He married Dana Guereca on May 20, 1983, in Odessa, TX. He worked as a truck driver for White Transportation Co.

Marcos is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

Marcos is survived by his wife, Dana Ragsdale Guereca; his five children: Laura Guereca, Maria Guereca, Constancia & Fermin Ortiz, Irma & Leo Salazar, Silvestre & Juanita Guereca; stepsons, Jaime & Liliana Tarango, and Rick & Haley Tarango; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Silvestre Guereca, Ermerehildo Guereca, Efren Guereca, Marco Antonio Guereca, Juan Guereca, and Trini Hernandez. Honorary Bearers are Victor Guereca, Giovany Guereca, Alan Carrillo, Josue Carrillo, Jaime Tarango, and Rick Tarango.
