MARGARET LELEU FRANKLIN

Margaret was born in Trout, Louisiana on June 26, 1931 to Theodore Joseph and Lily Leleu and went to be with her Lord on March 21, 2016 in Midland, TX. She married the love of her life, Loyd Franklin, on June 26, 1949, and they celebrated 58 wonderful years together, during which time they successfully raised a family of four sons and one daughter. Loyd and Margaret moved to Texas from Crowley, Louisiana in 1956. Margaret was a homemaker, and she loved to cook, bowl, read, and crochet, but the thing that gave her the greatest delight was time spent with her children and her grandchildren.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, Loyd, her parents, and two sons, Anthony Paul Franklin and Loyd Michael Franklin.

Margaret is survived by one sister, Pearlie Mae Carroll; one daughter, Kathy Martin and husband, William; three sons, James Franklin and wife, Connie, Russell Franklin and wife, Laurie and Terrall Franklin and wife, Debra all of Odessa; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Weeks DuBose officiating.
