Margaret H. Maggie Kull, 78, of Odessa, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 in Odessa, Texas. She was born March 4, 1935 to Jack Helen Hampton in Ballinger, Texas.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She graduated from Ballinger High School. She married Ed Kull in September 1974.
She worked for and retired from the City of Odessa from 1959 to 1974 as an executive secretary in the Public Works Department. She served a number of years as Executive Secretary for Rocky Mountain Pipeline Contractors Association. She was a member of the Board of Directors for CKC Testing Company as well as Pan American Oilfield Service Company and C.E. Kull and Associates.
She loved travelling with Ed throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. She loved golf, hunting and camping.
She was preceded in death by her parents brother, Jack Hampton sister and brotherinlaw, Sue and Troy Lee and daughter, Hopie Hancock.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Kull of Odessa daughter, Carol Josie Swain Wilson of Midland son, Lou Swain of Midland sister and brotherinlaw, Mary and Lewis Robison of Ft. Stockton and sister, Donna Rogers of San Angelo.
She also had nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great greatgrandchildren, as well as one special nephew, Mitch Lee and numerous other nieces and nephews.
It is suggested in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hospice Home Hospice Field Office, 516 N. Texas, Odessa, TX 79761 or your favorite charity.
There will be a graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Ron Colwell officiating.
