Margarito Lopez, Sr.

Margarito C. Lopez Sr. passed away on Friday, June 28, 2013 in Odessa. He was born June 2, 1934 in La Esparanza, Texas to Manuel and Victoria Lopez.

Margarito is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Victoria Lopez his brothers, Jose, Victor, Inez and Manuel Lopez and sister, Rita Galindo.

He is survived by his wife, Rafaela C. Lopez children, Oscar Lopez and Linda, Terri Vasquez, Maria L. Garza and Raul Jr., Margarito Jr. and Bertha Lopez, and Samuel Lopez brothers, Catarino, Lorenzo and Martin Lopez sisters, Paula Vasquez, Carman Lopez Gaytan, Sylvia Lopez, and Lucia Lopez Gonzalez grandchildren, Oscar Jr. and Crystal, Fernando, Adrian, Margaret and Armando, Luis and Leighan, Rozanne, Anthony and Sonya, Danielle, Michael, and Estevan and twelve great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Oscar Lopez Jr., Fernando Garza, Adrian Lopez, Luis Lopez, Anthony Lopez, Michael Vasquez, Estevan Lopez and Armando Jimenez.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home in the chapel with Oscar Lopez Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
