Maria Bivar-Branco

My mother, Odete, was a warm, compassionate and vibrant woman who always went out of her way to help others. Maria Odete De Bivar Branco passed away peacefully August 16, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. Maria Odete was a daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was not only my mother, but the matriarch of our family.

She is survived by her son, Joe; grandsons Tony and Natalie Branco, Michael and Cortney Branco from Midland, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Hayley, Ryan, Kennedy, Brooklyn, and Landry.

She had a wonderful sense of humor which endeared her to everyone she came in contact with. Her passion for Jesus Christ highlighted her unselfish love of life. She was a proud and dignified woman, who had a passion for life and her family who gave love to all.

My mother has always been my support, strength, and comfort when times were tough. Our family will draw strength from her exemplary life. She put God, family, and love for America first.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Larry Adams officiating.
