Maria Lourdes Gimenez, 55, of Odessa, TX, passed away on December 14, 2013 in Odessa, TX.

Rosary will be Sunday, December 15, 2013 at 5:30pm at Sunset Memorial Chapel.
Celebration of Life will be held at St. Marys Catholic Church on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 11:00am with Father Santiago officiating. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Maria was born in the Philippines to David and Petra Cape on November 14, 1958. Maria went on to receive a Bachelors degree from Concordia College. On July 30, 2005, Maria married Nicolas Gimenez. Maria worked as a Cosmetic Specialist for Clinique for many years. For the last 13 years, Maria was the Business Manager for Clinique at Dillards. Maria was also a devoted parishioner of St. Marys Catholic Church. For the last 29 years, Maria has been the Aunt of the year to her nieces and nephews.

Maria was preceded in death by both her parents, David and Petra.

Maria is survived by her spouse Nicolas Gimenez, step kids Catherine, Dominico and Francis, sisters Tess Diolola and Flor Jacinto, brothers Joey and Danilo Cape, nephews Reinard, Jed, Francis, Dave, Danneil, and Isaiah and two nieces Patricia and Gail.

The Cape and Gimenez family extend our sincere thanks to Dr. S. Uy, Dr. R. Borra, MCH nurses, doctors, and special persons, Patty Gimenez, Phil Buaquen, Gemma and Monte Montemayor, Star Care Hospice, FAAPB and all our relatives and friends.
