Maria Mendoza

Jesus Maria Mendoza, age 77, passed away on August 18, 2017 in Midland.

Maria was born on September 2, 1939 in Mexico to Pedro Mendoza and Benedicta Loya.

Maria married on January 17, 1959 to Esteban Mendoza. They were happily married for 58 years and blessed with 7 children, 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was a wonderful woman, good wife, mother and grandmother. She was happy surrounded by her loved ones. She will always be remembered with a lot of love, admiration and respect.

Maria is preceded in death by her son, Esteban Mendoza, Jr.

Maria is survived by her children, Efren, Elsi, Rigo, Oralia, Manuel and Yadira; grandchildren, Efren Jr., Lizeth, Elizabeth, Alex, Yanet, Erika, Jessica, Rigo Jr., Esteban, Erik, Edgar, Brenda, Manuel Jr., Andres and Melissa; great grandchildren, Efren, Julian, Alessandro, Anavey, Ariya, Krystel, Steven and Giancario.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel on Monday, August 21, 2017.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Frank Chavez, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
