Marie Valentine Heath-Milam, 50, of Odessa died Monday, March 16, 2008 at her residence.
On March 16th, 2008, Marie Valentine Heath-Milam went on a journey. Before she left to go, she wanted all to know that this was her journey, it didnt belong to anyone else, nor was it to hurt anyone she knew.
She was happy to go to new places and learn new lessons. She was happy at heart to make anyones day, speaking to them or giving something to them be it small or of herself. Marie was the second oldest of six sisters and one brother who she loved. She had one son, Michael Glaze, he was all she ever wanted. She wanted for him the best and with this she stepped out of his way to have that life. He lives in Austin area with her granddaughter Catlain Paige and daughter-in-law Jessica Glaze. She was proud of who Michael was and the family he had made. She had a wonderful husband, Jack Milam, who preceded her last month on this journey, she missed him terribly. All through her life she made wonderful friends who she would do anything to help any way she could with a laugh or a pie. Marie was a beautiful girl and so talented, she sewed, painted and drew charcoal pictures those of you who have them know the painstaking measures she took to make them perfect. She had a really proud older sister, Bobbie who loved her and wanted only the best, and thought she was the best sister in the world. She also leaves two younger sisters Zella Lippe and Lori Reynolds and that one brother Duane Reynolds. In high school she was popular, in life she was talented and in death she will be met by her parents, Janie and JD Reynolds, her great niece she loved so much Kelsey Burden, our sisters who preceded on her journey Whitney Gibbs and Diana Smith, aunts and uncles and grandparents, too. In life she left her legacy behind to her nieces Kelly Tidwell, Janie Lynn Lippe, and a nephew Chris Smith, great nephews, Gary and Jacob Dean, Nathan Drook and John-Matthew Turner, great nieces Bailea Jordan Kneedler, and Joely Kristian Tidwell. She was proud of them all, each for their own way of making happiness in this world, as she did.
Memorial services are scheduled for 3:00pm Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy Braswell officiating.
