Marie Maxine Pruett Preslar
On Saturday, July 7, 2012, this beautiful 82 year old child of God was returned home. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She no longer suffers the pains of a critically ill body. She is now free of all pain, rejoicing and singing praises with our awesome God.
Maxine was born April 18, 1930 in Eastland, Texas to H. L. Lewis and Lydia Esther Farmer Pruett. She was the blessing they had prayed to receive for 11 years. Her father preceded her in death just one month shy of her third birthday. Her mother preceded her in 1989. Maxine and her mother moved to Odessa in 1947 when her Mother took an Elementary Teaching position.

Maxine doted on her family, and enjoyed every chance she had to spend time with them. She loved to shop, travel, and play with her little dogs, Fancy and Taffy. Her husband preceded her in death on January 14, 2010.
