Marilyn Albertina Leek, 80, passed away on Monday, February 18, 2013 in Odessa, TX.


Visitation will be 6pm8pm Friday, February 22, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.


Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Emmitt Barnard officiating.


Marilyn was born in Cisco, TX to Myrtle Louise McCleskey Brink and Arnold Harold Brink on July 20, 1932. She went to school at Strawn High School in Strawn, TX. She married Ernest William Leek on January 22, 1949 in Seminole, TX. Over the years, she worked at several grocery stores and physicians offices as well as being a homemaker to her 7 kids. She loved her family, playing Bingo and singing every day.


She is preceded in death by her dad Arnold, mother in law Lucille, husband Ernest, father in law Weaver, her mom Myrtle, grandsons Jeremy and Rowdy, great granddaughter Madeline, son Gary and grandson Roy.


Marilyn is survived by son Larry, daughter Cecelia, sons Frank, Mike and wife Lugene, son Terry and daughter Jerri sisters Delores and Carol and brother Bud and wife Pam 15 grand kids and 23 great grand kids.


In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to either the American Heart Association
