Marissa Marie Garza, 25 of Pecos, TX passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in Odessa, TX.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 7, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Monday, February 8, 2016 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell, officiating.

Marissa Marie Garza was born in Lockney, TX to Armando Garza and Tammy Duran on February 28, 1990. She attended and graduated from Plainview High in Plainview, TX. She got engaged to Jose Luis Martinez on March 12, 2012. Currently was a stay-at-home mom.

Marissa is survived by husband Jose Luis Martinez, 2 daughters Jazzlyn M. Navarez and Esmeralda M. Martinez, 3 step-sons Cody, Corey and Tony Martinez, step-daughter Isabella Martinez, 6 brothers Jonathan Garza, Michael Garza, Matthew Garza, Nathan Garza, Isaiah Olivas and Xzavier Perez, one sister Julianna Borrego, her maternal grandparents Lupe and Rosa Duran, parents Armando and Veronica Garza and Able and Tammy Castellano.

Pallbearers will be Jose Luis Martinez, Cody Martinez, Corey Martinez, John Garza, Matthew Garza, Nathan Garza, Lupe Duran, Jr., and Isaiah Olivas.
