Marjorie Rawlings

Margie Rawlings was born in Sweetwater, Texas on January 16, 1926 to Juanita and Arthur Eggleston. She passed away Saturday, January 9, 2016 in New Braunfels.

Margie married Ernest Rawlings in March, 1951 and moved to Abilene, Texas where Margie was a homemaker and mother to her daughter, Judy.

In 1962, the small family moved to Midland, Texas and to Odessa in the '70s. In 2013 she moved to New Braunfels, Texas to be close to her
daughter and family.

Margie enjoyed being home, working around her house and her yard. She loved the spring, summer, and fall because she could be outside. She enjoyed her friends and sharing her time with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and her husband. She is survived by her daughter, Judy Hargrove and husband, Steve Hargrove of New Braunfels; grandson, Stephen Hargrove and wife, Lori Hargrove of San Antonio; and 2 great grandchildren, Leighanna
Goodson and Justin Goodson of Odessa.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa with Reverend Clydel Chapman, officiating.
