Mark Anthony Andrade

Mark Anthony Andrade, age 33, of Odessa, passed away on April 16, 2025.

A Rosary will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home with Jessica Montanez-Caruso officiating.

Mark was born in Odessa to George Cheney and Linda Denise Mantooth on August 26, 1991. He was a Permian High School graduate. Mark had a heart of gold; he was incredibly kind and generous; kids were naturally drawn to him. He was a loving son; he enjoyed time with family and friends and spending time with his dog Whiskey. Mark was more than just the family’s tech guru; he had a sharp mind with skills of problem solving, exploring virtual worlds, and connecting with those around him through his passion for gaming. Mark was employed at Select Chemistry, in Midland where he worked as a Laboratory Technician. His laughter, his big heartfelt hugs and quiet confidence will be missed greatly.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother Linda Denise Mantooth, brother George Michael Andrade, grandfather George Cheney and Grandmother Patricia Andrade Cheney.

Mark is survived by his parents George and Lori Cheney, stepmother Karina Ornelas Hernandez, sister Stephanie Andrade, stepsister Cheyenne Natividad, God-parents Pilar and Romelia Ornelas, Grandmother Linda Mantooth, Aunts; Elizabeth Puente, Rebecca Puente, Sara Cheney Gomez (husband Ruben Gomez), several cousins as well as several nephews and nieces.
