Mark Randel Erwin

Mark Erwin, 61, of Odessa, Texas, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025, in El Paso, Texas.

The visitation will be on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, with Jeff Cleere of Chapel Hill Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Mark was born Monday, November 11, 1963, in Odessa, TX, to Pete and Sue Erwin. He married the love of his life, Jackie Larrysa, on Friday, December 27, 1996, in Odessa, TX. He worked as a carpenter for most of his life. But who are we kidding—Mark could do it all. He could build or fix anything. He was a problem solver who had the biggest heart and was always there for everyone. He loved his time on the boat pulling the kids on the tube. His children and granddaughter were his world. He was so proud of all of them.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Sue Erwin; his brother, Terry Erwin and wife Susie; his brother, Larry and wife Bonnie; and his nephew, Jimmy Ray.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie Larrysa Erwin; his son, William Erwin (Hope); his son, Hayden Erwin (Tury); his daughter, Courtney Erwin (Derek); his beautiful granddaughter, Magnolia Armendariz; his sister, Linda Tate (Snake); and his numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Donovan Jones, Devin Jones, Toby Eaton, Derek Armendariz, Ruben Vasquez, and Shelby Lynn Middlebrooks.
