Marshall Gene Glenn, age 85, passed away on January 27, 2015 at his home in Odessa, TX.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, January 29, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home.
Graveside Services will be held January 30, 2015 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jeff Cleere of Chapel Hill Baptist Church officiating.
Gene was born in Bosque County, Texas to Vera and Buster Glenn on December 10, 1929. He graduated from high school in Fairy, Texas. He married Doris Ann Cobb on November 2, 1948 in Odessa, Texas. He worked for various construction companies in Odessa before establishing Permian Tractor Sales in 1975. He retired in 1997 and began to enjoy golfing full time. Gene was a long time member of the club at Mission Dorado.
Gene is preceded in death by his parents, Vera and Buster Glenn and his brother, Glen Glenn.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Doris Glenn; daughter Deborah Harrison and her husband Stephen Harrison of Odessa; brothers, Joe Glenn and his wife Lila Glenn of Mansfield, Texas, Wendell Glenn and his wife Linda Glenn of Burleson, Texas; sister, Glenda Powell and her husband Rosie Powell of Cleburne, Texas; granddaughter, Heather Eubanks and her husband Sean of Blanchard, Oklahoma; grandson, Jason Harrison of Odessa and six great grandsons, Samuel, Caleb, Issac, Aaron Eubanks of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Chandler and Conner Harrison of Odessa.
The family of Gene wishes to extend our sincere thanks to our family at Chapel Hill Baptist Church for all their love and support. We also would like to thank the wonderful folks at Home Hospice for the outstanding care they have given Gene.
