Martha L. Sanders Maupin, Loving Wife and Mother went home to join her Savior and Lord on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She lived a long and full life and guided each of Us through the pathways of life.
A wife, mother, a grandma too,

She was born October 7, 1937 in Haskell County, Texas to Andrew and Sally Sanders. She was raised in Winert, Texas and attended North Western University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She married William J. Maupin on December 11, 1961 in Odessa, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two siblings. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William J. Maupin, of Odessa; one Son, William Mark Maupin and wife Denise, of Odessa; Daughter, Susan Marie Ray and husband Hank, of Odessa; and daughter, Loretta Lynn Maupin of Odessa; four grandchildren, Mark Alexander Maupin of Odessa, Kimberly Ray of Denver, Co., Kristal Camp and husband Tony of Denver, Co. and Shawn Taylor Ray of Odessa; four brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2008 in Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Larry Hood officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
