Martin Gonzalez

Martin F. Gonzalez, age 70, passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in
Odessa.

He was born July 9, 1939 in El Paso, Texas to Manuel Gonzalez and Solidad Martinez Gonzalez. He married Elvira Carrasco in 1968 in El Paso. He attended St. Joseph School and worked for Furrs Grocery and Walmart Grocery.

Survivors include his daughters, Magali Reyes and Yahara Lisa Gutierrez and husband Jeff Peacher his grandchildren, Maribel Morales and husband Carlos Morales, Jose Reyes, Rene Reyes, Araceli Ornelas and husband Louis Ornelas III his great grandchildren, Noe Ornelas, Gabriella Morales and Carlos Morales brothers, Salvador Gonzalez Chalia, Arturo Gonzalez, Adan Gonzalez and wife Nina Gonzalez sister, Delfina Gonzalez and sister in law, Isela Gonzalez.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Valente Gonzalez.

Visitation with the family will be 56 PM Friday, June 18, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Rosary will follow at 6:00 PM Friday. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 19, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Father Joseph Uecker officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
