Mary Culver

Mary Culver, age 77, of Odessa went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in Odessa.

She was born May 9, 1935 in Frederick, Oklahoma to Harold Conrad and Mary Ruth Harwood Conrad. She graduated from Friendship High School in 1953, in Friendship, Oklahoma. She married Billy Culver on April 7, 1955 in Grandfield, Oklahoma. They lived in Lockhart, Texas where she worked as a telephone operator, then moved to Odessa, August of 1981 from Corpus Christi. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church. She enjoyed treasure hunting and her greatest joy was her family and her children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Billy C. Culver, Jr., and her brother, Troy Conrad.

Survivors include her husband, Billy C. Culver of Odessa her son, Ricky Culver and his wife Sylvia of Huntsville her daughter, Diane G. Lewis and husband George of Midland her brothers, Don Conrad and wife Sue of Oklahoma City, Dale Conrad and wife Reba of McKinney, Texas her sister, Gayle Anderson and husband Dale of Duncan, Oklahoma her sisterinlaw, Darlene Conrad of Shreveport, Louisiana five grandchildren, Katrina, Karly, Brandon, George and Lindsey and five great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2012 at Northside Baptist Church with Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Ismenn, George Lewis, Kevin Conrad, Ricky Culver, Dale Conrad and Dale Anderson.
