Mary Curry

Mary Elizabeth (Beth) Curry, 94, of Odessa, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022, in her own home in Odessa, TX.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, April 15, 2022, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Beth was an only child born in Stillwater, OK, to Harold and Leafy Harrington on June 22, 1927.  She eloped with Dale Curry, M.D. on May 16, 1948.  She attended Oklahoma State University as a Chi Omega, graduating with a B.S. in Chemistry.  Along with being a homemaker, she volunteered for many organizations including the Hospital Auxiliary, Panhellenic, St Luke’s Methodist Church among others. Along with her many areas of service, Beth was an avid bridge player, continuing to play into her 90’s.

Beth is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Curry, and her parents.

Beth is survived by her children, Mike Curry (spouse Katy Curry), Janet Curry, Tom Curry, and Julie Curry Watson (Ron Watson).  Additionally, her grandchildren, Christy Bronaugh (Jody Bronaugh), Carie Cutter (Greg Cutter), Rose George (William George), Nora Davis (Ivan Davis), Allison Aden (Warfa Aden) and Brian Curry; great grandchildren Ella, Asha, Zachary, Kaleab, and Charlotte Bronaugh, Alexandria Lingle, Gus, Ruby, and Milo George, and Jax, Ivy, Rex, and Levi Davis.
