Mary Galindo

April 11, 1915 — March 13, 2012

The angels guided mama home to the New Jerusalem on March 13, 2012. Mary Santos Galindo, 96 years old, having been born April 11, 1915 went home. She was born in Lubbock, Texas to Emiterio Santos and Georgie Martinez.

Mama was preceded in death by her husband Guillermo Esparza Galindo, baby son, Roman Galindo and infant grandson John Kevin Herrera. Her sisters Alejandra Bernard and Juanita Salazar also preceded her in death, as did her nephews, Jesse and Robert Bernard, Jacinto and Jim Salazar and niece Luisa Reyes.

Survivors are her children, Mary Cecilia Sissy Herrera, Virginia Molinar, Guillermo Billy and Ofelia Galindo and Carolyn Sue and Frank Rodriguez. Grandchildren are Gina Annette and Dawn Charis Molinar, Wm. Eric and Jennifer Molinar, Janaan and Steven Ray Johnson, Adonica Galindo, Wm. Jeremiah and Tanya Galindo, Donna Lynn and Mandy Ann Rodriguez, Dominic Lyles Rodriguez and Gabriel Anthony and Natalie Rodriguez. Great grandchildren are Michael Anthony and AnnaMariya Garcia, Jonah Guillermo Molinar, Azure Nyree and KyLeigh dlyn Johnson, Mia Imani MolinarLott, Briannna Danielle Galindo, Brianna Rene and Samuel Vincent Rodriguez. Also surviving her are nephew John Bernard, nieces Victoria Navarrette, Trine Uranga and Eva Bernard, sister in law, Jesusita Vijil, Godsons, Rodney Roman and Paz Molinar and best friend Maria Molinar. Many beloved nephews and nieces also survive her.

Visitation and Rosary were Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated by Father Serafin Avenido at 1:00 PM today, March 15, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers are Jeremiah Galindo, Michael Garcia, Dominic Rodriguez, Gabriel Rodriguez, Roy Bernard and Rodney Roman.

Eternal gratitude to Dr. John Whitten, Sandy and Juanita. Also Starla, Molly and Veronica with Star Hospice. Thanks to Father Serafin, Carlota and Rosa for bringing the body of Christ and their prayers to Mama. Thank you all and we pray Gods blessings upon you.
