Mary Janosik

Mary Elizabeth Janosik, 81, of Odessa, passed away March 7, 2009 at Deerings Nursing Home. She was born in Cleveland, Missouri to Joe and Thelma Lancaster. Mrs. Janosik was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Janosik was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph Janosik, daughter Diana Quilodran, son Terry Thompson, stepdaughter Helen Simpson, stepson Johnny Janosik, brothers Gary Lancaster and Donald Lancaster, and four grandchildren.

Survivors include sons Thomas Thompson of Odessa and Robert Thompson of Odessa, daughters Lovella Fisher of Clyde, Tx., Patricia Janosik of Odessa, and Kathleen Janosik of Odessa; brother Joe Lancaster of Belton, Mo. and sister Wilma Murdock of Des Moines, IA; 36 Grandchildren, 70 Great-grandchildren, and 9 Great-great-grandchildren.
