Matilde Carrasco

Matilde Carrasco, 93, beloved mother, spouse, and daughter, was called to her eternal resting place on Thursday, January 2, 2025. 

She entered this world on March 14, 1931, in Chihuahua, Mexico, born to Cipriano and Merced Gonzales. 

Matilde’s hobbies included sewing & cooking. Cooking was definitely her love language.

 Matilde is preceded in death by her parents, Cipriano & Merced Gonzales; her husband, Aron Carrasco; sons, Pete Carrasco, Aron Carrasco Jr,; daughter, Yolanda Barela; and granddaughter, Debbie Carrasco.

 She is survived by her daughters, Mary Hernandez (Albert), Aurora Rivas (Mickey), Anna Rodriguez (Israel), Elsie Villa (Luis), Sandra Carrasco; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and numerous great- great grandchildren.

 Pallbearers will be Johnny Orona, Albert Hernandez, Isaac Armendariz, Timothy Armendariz, Jaime Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Pete Carrasco and Ivan Subia.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 9, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Father Frank Chavez officiating. A burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
