Max Lynn Glover
Max Lynn Glover, 57, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, February 16, 2013. He is preceded in death by his father, BE Pete Glover, his brother, Russell Carl Rusty Glover, and his sister, Barbara Jean Sissy Glover.
Max was born June 20, 1955, in Odessa, Tx to Pete and Norma Jean Glover. He was raised on the southside and graduated from OHS in 1973. He married Vicki Ralston on July 17, 1981. They had three sons together. Although he traveled and worked all over the world, his heart never left Odessa.
Max was an innovator who enjoyed hard work. In the 80s he coowned Area Rig Fabrication of Odessa, where he designed and manufactured drawworks. After the boom, he moved his family to Tyler where he worked for Flow International Corp. He traveled all over the world as the 1 technician for all their water jet equipment. He came back to Odessa in 2006. He was incredibly intelligent and mechanically inclined and never saw a task too great. He worked hard, loved deeply, and always had a joke to tell and a twinkle in his eye.
Max was very proud of his kids, and grandkids, and is survived by them. Dustin Glover and wife Kayla, of Tyler, Tx, Cole Glover,of Amarillo, Tx, and Chad Glover, wife Chelsea, and their daughters Lydia Marie and Elizabeth Rose of Bossier City, La. He is also survived by his mother Norma Jean Glover, of Odessa,Tx his three brothers, Rickey Glover and wife Mary Gail, of Brownwood, Tx Jimmy Glover and wife Sharon, of Odessa, Tx Billy Jack Glover and wife Donna, of Odessa, Tx his former wife and friend, Vicki Glover Loveless, of Odessa, Tx his loving nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Max will not easily be forgotten. We will cherish our precious memories of him. God graced us with Maxs contagious laugh, sincere spirit and genuine love for us all. We will forever love Max as our son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
Family and friends are invited to Maxs Memorial Service at Sunset Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Chad Glover and Rev. Jerry Ralston officiating. A special thanks to all the family and friends who loved and supported Max and shared his life
