Max Walters

Max Walters, age 90, of Odessa, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 in Odessa, Texas.

He was born May 15, 1921. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family dearly and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, sisters and wife, Eva Lou Walters, and his great granddaughter, Jamie Franklin.

Survivors include his children, Terry Walters and wife Belinda of Arlington, Janet Franklin of El Paso, Ludene Reeves and husband Dwain of Fort Stockton, Maxey Walters and wife Mary of Midland, Robbie Walters of Odessa step children, Jim Elkins of Safford, Arizona, Glenda Koscielniak of Palm Harbor, Florida twin sister, Madge Johnson sister, Jerry Cutler and brother Robert Walters 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, June 6, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
