Maxine Sharp

On the morning of Friday, April 19, 2013, Maxine Mae Sharp passed away peacefully at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde, Texas at the age of 90 years old.

She was born on March 3, 1923 in Decatur, Illinois to Herbert and Ada Bundy. She was united in marriage to Mitchell Eugene Sharp on December 4, 1946. They moved to Odessa, Texas in 1951 and in October 2009 she moved to Uvalde, Texas. She spent her life as a devoted wife and very caring mother. Loved having her children and grandchildren around her. She was a strong woman who always had a smile for everyone.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell, her parents, 4 sisters, 1 brother, and her grandson, Mark Johnson.

She is survived by her daughters, Sondra Meil and husband J.E. of Brackettville, TX and Becky Widner and husband Dane of Odessa, TX son, Mitchell Sharp, Jr. and wife Linda of Austin, TX brother, Paul Bundy and wife Pat of Decatur, Illinois 3 grandsons 2 granddaughters and several greatgreat grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 22, 2013 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in the chapel in Odessa, TX with the Rev. Steven Digby of First Christian Church officiating.
