Melba Paysinger

Melba Rose Paysinger, Age 81, of Odessa, passed away on September 18, 2017 in McKinney, TX.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, September 22, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Melba was born April 4, 1936 to Clifton and Elnora Ritchey in Camden, AR. She worked as a secretary for Bariod Co. While working for Bariod she met the love of her life, James Paysinger. They were married in 1968 in Odessa, TX. Melba enjoyed tole painting and she taught alphabetic phonics.

Melba is preceded in death by her loving husband in 2010, James Paysinger, her son, Michael Stanford, her parents, Clifton and Elnora Ritchey, son in-law, Paul Young and her grandson, Randy Nuckols.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Nuckols Lovejoy of Midland, TX, son, Desmond Stanford and wife, Sheila of Baton Rouge, LA, granddaughters, Christina Stanford and Jennifer Smith and her husband, Clint, great granddaughters, Emily Escabedo and Gracie Lynn Stanford.
