Michael Proctor

Michael Proctor, age 47, beloved son, brother, and father, was called to his eternal resting place on January 29, 2016. He entered this world on February 7, 1968 in Odessa, TX, born to William and Sandra Proctor. He is survived by his father, William R. Proctor of Odessa, the mother of his children, Julie Proctor, his children, Michael Jr. and Katherine Proctor; his brother, Matthew Proctor and wife Tammy Proctor of Bullard, TX; nephew and niece, Lane and Samantha Proctor of Bullard, TX; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly and will forever cherish their memories of his life.

Michael was a graduate of Odessa Permian High School in 1986 and then attended and graduated with a B.B.A. in Finance from Texas Tech University in 1990. He worked various jobs until he decided on his true calling by taking over his father's business at Specialty Equipment Company in Odessa, TX.

Michael enjoyed waking up early, playing golf, watching his Red Raiders play football, and spending time with his friends and family. He recently relocated to Lubbock, TX, the town of his college youth, and was just beginning a new era in his life. He will always be remembered for his dynamic personality, his enthusiastic smile, and his good nature.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, February 5, 2016, at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Odessa, TX.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
