Mickey Abalos

Mickey (Micaela) Abalos left us to go with the angels on Christmas Day.

She was the most loving wife, mother, and grandmother; known to us all as “Mommy.” Her life was devoted to her family whom she loved dearly and lived her life in service of them. She never hesitated to go where she was needed.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Abalos; and sons, Michael Ray, and Danny Abalos.

She is survived by 9 children: Susie Ramirez and husband Fidencio, Willie Abalos Jr., Tony Abalos, Rudy Abalos and wife Sandy, Poly Abalos and wife Gloria, Jorge Abalos and wife Delvia, Ernest Abalos, Mariann Bagley and husband Jimmy, and Gilbert Abalos; also, 25 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as her loving sister, Rosa Rivas and brother, Orlando Montanez, and his wife Irene.

She will forever be in our hearts. She leaves a legacy for her children to cherish forever.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, December 30, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 31, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Joseph Barbieri officiating.  Burial will follow at Robert Lee Cemetery in Robert Lee.
