Mildred Young

On Monday, September 10th, 2012, Mildred Young, of Odessa, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior. Mildred passed away at Medical Center Hospital she was 94 years of age.

Mrs. Young was born August 15, 1918 in Bowie, Texas. She moved to Paducah, Texas at a young age and then to Odessa in 1966. She was a loving wife and mother. She loved and served her Lord in her daily life.

Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Lewis Young and a son, Jerry Young.

Her surviving children include her daughter, Betty Richards of Manford, Oklahoma and son, Perry Young of Odessa two grandchildren, Carol and Bryan and two great grandchildren, Brandon and Amy.

We want to give a special thank you to the EMS, Doctors and Nurses of the ER and Caregivers on 4 East at Medical Center Hospital.

Our greatest comfort in knowing our Mother was that she was Saved and Loved the Lord Thank everyone for the love they showed to our mother. God Bless You.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, September 14, 2012 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with John Lyons officiating.
