Miss Helen Click

Helen Miss Helen Click passed away into the arms of heaven on Thursday, March 26, 2009 in San Angelo, Texas.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 28 and Sunday March 29, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home in Odessa. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, March 30, 2009 in Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Helen was born on January 4, 1923 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Dora Nichols and Andy Kennon. She married Lester Click in December of 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Helen loved her job at Furrs Cafeteria and retired after 21 years of service in 2007. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a big fan of the Dallas Cowboys, a member of the Garden Club and also loved animals and doing ceramics.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Helen is survived by four daughters, Linda Brock of San Angelo, Marilyn Harris and her husband H.P. of Hemphill, Texas; Lisa Everett Armendarez and husband Benny of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Debbie Everett Andrews and husband Harvey of San Angelo, Texas and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Legend Oaks Nursing Home and Staff in San Angelo for their care. A special loving and warm thank you goes to Lucy Gutierrez for all her care and compassion.
